Point Inside publishes original indoor maps and offers a mobile and web platform for indoor destinations that enables third parties to leverage the maps, point of interest database, indoor path finding, search, and promotion capabilities. The platform is available for license, and licensees can integrate their own detailed, value-added information on top of Point Inside maps. Point Inside also offers consumers a free mobile application, “Point Inside Maps for Airports and Malls” on iOS and Android devices..

Who are you?
You’re a creative and gifted Android developer who understands UX and has the skills to realize your vision from scratch. You’ve built beautiful, engaging mobile applications in the past and are passionate about new mobile technologies on the horizon. You are 110% end-user focused. You get that you play a key and highly visible role and embrace the responsibility to spearhead and manage the next generation of our mobile experience.

With a high degree of ownership, you will:
* Build and maintain Android applications that flow naturally, intuitively, and efficiently
* Develop against internal and third-party RESTful data sources
* Consume and extend proprietary indoor mapping APIs and services
* Define the architecture and frameworks used to rapidly deploy effective solutions
* Understand and implement UI/UX best practices
* Creatively contribute in all phases of the product life cycle from nurturing a great idea to something released for use by our clients and end users
* Debug and troubleshoot problems efficiently and effectively
* Manage your activities to achieve objectives, fill in missing blanks, and let nothing get in your way

Because you create your own destiny, you have:
* 3+ years of professional software development
* Experience building rich and complex mobile applications
* Familiarity with object oriented design patterns
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills and penchant for tackling complex issues
* Well developed written and verbal skills to share information
* Entrepreneurial spirit, scrappy cleverness, and comfort in a dynamic start-up environment
* Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Notes: Our compensation package includes a solid base salary with paid time off, stock options, and a medical, dental, and vision plan. All of our positions are based in our Bellevue, WA office. We are unable to offer relocation assistance.
