Android “Sneak Peek” Version of App Released

This early release (v.0.8.5) of the Point Inside app for the Android platform showcases basic map selection and view capabilities, along with directory lists of over 100,000 stores and services across malls in the U.S. and Canada.  The Point Inside development philosophy is “release early, release often”, and we’re already working on additional features to be implemented VERY soon, such as:

  • Pins on the Map – select a store and see the pin on the map
  • Search  – text search for Stores and Services based on name and description
  • Promotions & Events – view store promotions and events from our retailer partners
  • Quick Keys – quick key access to Restaurants, Restrooms and ATMs in the mall
  • Venue List - search for and select a venue from a list view in addition to map view
