Job Description

Point Inside is a technology company selling licensed solutions to the logistics industry.  We provide a suite of routing and navigation technologies to service providers that deliver directly into dense environments like malls, corporate campuses, hospitals or office complexes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute against customer growth plans and attain goals and quotas

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships

  • Present products to prospective clients

  • Work closely with business development leadership to extract market learning

  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients and understand their needs

  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

Skills and Requirements

  • Past experience with logistics technologies, indoor mapping, routing or navigation.

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales role

  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles

  • Outstanding knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Enthusiastic and passionate

  • Comfortable explaining technological data transfer mechanisms (i.e. APIs, SFTP transfers, etc…)

  • Direct experience with Inside Sales practices (i.e. cold email, cold calling, networking, etc…)

  • Comfortable working in an early-stage sales environment in which there is constant learning

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Since 2009, Point Inside has led the way with indoor mapping and routing in high-density venues including malls, airports, and retail venues.  In 2020, Point Inside recognized the emerging challenges of package handling to and from these venues.  The “last mile” of deliveries is inefficient and expensive.  Carrier infrastructure is stressed due to increased package volume.  Finally, there’s a lack of accurate, up-to-date indoor mapping and routing.

Bootworks provides last-mile logistic solutions within high-density environments (HDEs) such as malls and airports using our proprietary mapping and routing technologies, people, and processes.

Bootworks by Point Inside reduces the number of people and trips required for deliveries. It costs delivery companies over $1 Billion per year to deliver packages inside large buildings. A small percentage in savings alone would justify the change, but the true benefit goes well beyond the reduction in expense. Bootworks allows delivery companies to re-allocate thousands of vehicle hours per month representing a sizable increase to their overall shipping capacity without any capital investment.

This Job Is:

  • Part of a team that is 100% remote. You are expected to be available for meetings and responsive on Slack between 8am and 5pm Pacific Time on workdays.

  • Salaried position with commission
